MAPLE CREST FARM ANIMAL RESCUE (“MCFAR”)

A non profit 501(c)(3) incorporated in 2020, located at 2718 Union street, Hermon, Maine.

We are dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of rescued farm animals as well as providing educational opportunities for our local residents and children.

We welcome farm visits by appointment only.  To schedule a farm tour you may call (207) 848-4969 and leave a message or connect through the website. A tax deductible donation is expected for all scheduled tours.

Caring for rescued farm animals requires shelter, maintenance, hay, grain, shearing, farrier and veterinary costs.  Tax deductible donations to help with these costs are most appreciated.  We also accept applications from individuals who would like volunteer time to help with animal care and facility up keep.

MCFAR also offers opportunities for corporate and business tours/retreats/picnics in a beautiful farm setting and  MCFAR can provide an experienced photographer for special events such as graduation, birthday, engagement, weddings and any special event.
